We developed a methodology for entering into conversation with a variety of local residents of the Antwerp North district on the basis of walks. Residents played the role of guide in their own neighbourhood and took students from KU Leuven on the road with them.

In this way, we built together a collective map that visualises the social reality, stories and experience of the district. Walking together makes people reflect on their surroundings and creates fascinating dialogues.
